About Dr. Benor

A husband and a father, Dr. Benor is passionate about women’s health and treats his patients like he would treat his family: with utmost respect for their autonomy and consideration of their values. Having trained with renowned OB/GYN subspecialists, Dr. Benor prides himself in his ability to provide the full gamut of care to his patients. He has experience treating women for all their needs: from managing high-risk pregnancies to performing complex gynecologic surgeries to treating the menopausal transition. Passionate about fertility care, he pursued additional training in infertility and brings his knowledge and expertise to Advantia Health, where he will provide basic infertility care from ovulation induction to intrauterine insemination.

Dr. Benor originates from California where he achieved a bachelor of arts degree at the University of California at Berkeley. He then completed his medical degree at the prestigious Tel Aviv University. Upon returning to America, he developed his skills as an obstetrician and gynecologist at one of the busiest labor wards in the country, Maimonides Medical Center, in Brooklyn. There he refined the art of personalized care while managing a busy service; as a chief resident, he led a team of residents and PAs in caring for over 8000 deliveries a year. He also became proficient in minimally invasive (laparoscopic, hysteroscopic) procedures, which he uses for removing fibroids, ovarian masses, and treatment of endometriosis as well as for other scenarios. He is passionate about medical and hormonal management of premenstrual syndrome, endometriosis, menopause, fibroids, pelvic pain, and infertility.

An avid enthusiast of nature, traveling, and adventure sports, Dr. Benor loves spending his time hiking, biking or exploring the world. With a two-year-old daughter, he now spends most of his free time following her lead. New to the area, he loves exploring local parks, hiking trails, breweries, and splash pads.
